This goes beyond the capabilities of previously available input modules, making it possible to capture an increasing amount of ** data about transition changes and noise characteristics generated by the latest mechatronics devices. When used in combination with optional 10-gigabit Ethernet functionality and the newly released IS8000 integrated measurement software, data can be transferred to a PC for display and storage at speeds of up to 10 ms/SEC. In addition, the flash memory acquisition capability is able to read data at speeds of up to 20 ms/SEC for long-term storage in the DL950's embedded non-volatile memory. This is useful for in-car measurements where personal computers are not available due to space or security constraints, such as in cars or trains, or for high-speed sampling and long time measurements at power plants.
